Dave’s Bible reading plan for 2018

NET Bible–>One Year Bible–>Tecarta Bible app

Tomorrow I plan to begin reading the NET Bible via the One Year Bible on my Tecarta Bible app. I got the NET Bible for 99 cents and got the One Year Bible for the sale price of $2.99 through the Tecarta app. This is another advantage of using an app such as Tecarta. Before when I decided to read through the Bible in a different translation I would be Bible shopping and it would cost much more than the four bucks I have invested here.

Got Questions dot org has an excellent post on the NET Bible. See link below:

What is the New English Translation (NET)?

Although some believe that the NET (and probably any translation that is not KJV) “is straight out of the pits of Hell“, the more I research the more confidence I have in the effort that Bible dot org put into this translation.

By the way the “straight out of the pits of Hell” person tells us that “This is the exact same garbage that we read in the NIV.”

So if you like the NIV, then the NET might work for you. 🙂
