A person knows something like that, would say something like that.<\/p>\n
A theory can’t.\u00a0 Theology can’t.\u00a0 Rules memorized can’t.\u00a0 Doctrine can’t.<\/p>\n
Only a person understands.<\/p>\n
Do we know God or do we merely know his theology?<\/p>\n
There are not many things in a relationship more intimate than knowing that the other person knows your faults, sins and foibles and still accepts and loves you.<\/p>\n
“I’m quirky.\u00a0 You know how I am.”<\/p>\n
Can you say that to God without going into confessional mode?<\/p>\n
You know what I mean.\u00a0 You’ve heard our prayers.\u00a0 “Oh, Lord, you know I need to pray more, witness more, sacrifice more, give more, blah, blah. . .more.”<\/p>\n
Can you sit at the table with God and\u00a0 allow him to accept you as you are?<\/p>\n
God knows you’re a goofball even if you don’t.\u00a0 God knows you are a sinner.\u00a0 He is keenly aware of your darkest thoughts.<\/p>\n
And in Jesus Christ there is no condemnation.<\/p>\n
