On every attempt the opponents came away empty.<\/p>\n<p>These men honored God in the manner in which they related to government authorities. Although not written yet in Daniel&#8217;s and Christ&#8217;s times, they would have had no problem with Romans 13:1.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>DANIEL<\/strong><\/span><strong>:<\/strong> <\/em>(Daniel 6:4 NASB95)\u00a0Then the commissioners and satraps began trying to find a ground of accusation against Daniel <strong>in regard to government affairs; but they could find no ground of accusation or evidence of corruption<\/strong>, inasmuch as he was faithful, and no negligence or corruption was to be found in him.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">CHRIST<\/span>:<\/strong><\/em> (Luke 23:13\u201315 ESV)\u00a0Pilate then called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people, and said to them, \u201cYou brought me this man as one who was misleading the people. And after examining him before you, behold, I <strong>did not find this man guilty of any of your charges against him.<\/strong> Neither did Herod, for he sent him back to us.
