A. (1996). <i>Genesis 1-11:26<\/i> (Vol. 1A, p. 220). Nashville: Broadman &amp; Holman Publishers.]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And think about this. The Woman\u00a0was deceived. Her husband was not deceived.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\">(2 Corinthians 11:3 ESV) But I am afraid that as <strong>the serpent deceived Eve<\/strong> by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ.<\/li>\n<li>(<span lang=\"en-US\">Genesis 3:13<\/span> ESV)<span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Then the <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Lord<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> God said to the woman, \u201cWhat is this that you have done?\u201d The woman said, \u201c<strong>The serpent deceived me<\/strong>, and I ate.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">(1 Timothy 2:11\u201314 ESV) Let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness. I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet. For Adam was formed first, then Eve; <strong>and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived<\/strong> and became a transgressor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>So why did the husband eat the fruit?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I guess you will have to listen to the message.
