{"id":324,"date":"2010-11-19T09:39:56","date_gmt":"2010-11-19T13:39:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.bottlerockettheology.com\/?p=324"},"modified":"2010-11-19T09:39:56","modified_gmt":"2010-11-19T13:39:56","slug":"im-a-goose","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dave.dlscott.info\/?p=324","title":{"rendered":"I&#8217;m a goose &#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yes, I&#8217;m a goose &#8230; so to speak. <\/p>\n<p>Bases on some informal &#8220;research&#8221; I have come to the conclusion that I&#8217;m a goose-type person.<\/p>\n<p>A friend told me that she had read that sometimes when the mate of a goose is wounded or otherwise injured that the healthy mate will stay by the wounded one at his or her own mortal peril. <\/p>\n<p>In other words the goose risks death for the sake of loyalty. <\/p>\n<p>The goose would rather die than desert his or her mate. <\/p>\n<p>So, yes, I&#8217;m a goose and very happy to say so. I would rather die than abandon this beautiful person who is my wife. <\/p>\n<p>So go ahead and call me a goose. <\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m good with that. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yes, I&#8217;m a goose &#8230; so to speak.
