Ran across this a little while ago on an archived page on one of my sites.<\/p>\n

Jeremiah 9.12-14<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

12\u00a0 I asked, “Is there anyone around bright enough to tell us what’s
\ngoing on here? Anyone who has the inside story from GOD and
\ncan let us in on it?
\n“Why is the country wasted?
\n“Why no travelers in this desert?”<\/span><\/p>\n

13\u00a0 GOD’s answer: “<\/span>Because they abandoned my plain teaching<\/span><\/span><\/span>.
\n<\/span>They wouldn’t listen to anything I said, <\/span>refused to live the way<\/span><\/span><\/span> I
\ntold them to. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

1<\/strong>4\u00a0 Instead they lived any way they wanted and took\u00a0 up with the
\nBaal gods, who they thought would give them what they
\nwanted–following the example of their parents.” <\/span><\/p>\n
