I returned to work today with not a lot, but some, apprehension.<\/p>\n
And God took care of me.\u00a0 That’s my best articulation of my thoughts, my best expression of what God did for me today; took time from his busy schedule to ease me back into the day job.<\/p>\n
What a God!<\/p>\n
I couldn’t have asked for a better re-entry after having been off work for almost four months.\u00a0 I did a job that kept me busy, but I was able to work by myself, listen to music and podcasts, radio … I worked down by the water – “feeding a hopper” in gravel pit terms, a beautiful 300 plus acre lake stretching around me and a fairly new CAT 966H loader with AC, air-ride, etc.<\/p>\n
I got the best night of rest last night that I have had in weeks.\u00a0 I asked God if he could do this for me.<\/p>\n
He did.<\/p>\n
Not because I am anything special, not particularly good, pretty much a nobody.<\/p>\n
But like I said – God.<\/p>\n
Mercy, grace, love, thoughtful care and consideration, mental and emotional toughness …<\/p>\n
Giving, giving, giving …<\/p>\n
God.\u00a0 When I am weak, then I am strong.<\/p>\n
