Do you see it yet? The “gracious thing” is on the path of Christ!
You stepped onto the path of Christ and didn’t even know it. Your job provided the opportunity to follow Jesus.
“So that you might follow in his steps. . .” So now do you see it, the path entrance?
we obediently respond to the words /
we find ourselves in grace on the path of Christ /
You may suffer for doing good but this too is grace as you follow your calling.
20 For what credit is it if, when you sin and are beaten for it, you endure?
But if when you do good and suffer for it you endure, this is a gracious thing in the sight of God.
21 For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you,
leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps.
Responding to the call of God, following Christ…and next thing you know you find yourself in the presence of God.
