- (Ephesians 4:32 ESV) Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
Problem.
- Sin #1: Many professing believers in Jesus Christ disobey God when it comes to forgiveness.
- Sin #2: Many other professing believers in Jesus Christ and his Holy Word do not rebuke those who commit sin #1.
God tells us to forgive one another and how to forgive one another. But we don’t listen to God and implement our own forgiveness strategies. So we sin. And others sin as they allow the “forgiveness freelancers” to continue in their sin without rebuke.
Problem.
Many in the Church are not walking with God because of this disobedience and the Church is weakened because of it.
Solution.
Obey God. Walk with him. Let God work out the sticky details. Get our own lives together.
