Ah … The beauty of Pandora.
Want to listen to a little opera? Maybe Placido Domingo? Okay. Just give the word, as in put the name in the search box and que it up.
Find some adagios to set up your morning? Ditto.

Has been a very good last several days. Learning new songs and techniques in choir. Meeting new friends with roots and stories from around the world.
Learning new technology, as in the very powerful sound system at church.
Very busy at work; which is good. Boss makes money; I get a paycheck.
Spent much of last Sunday with a new friend who has an amazing story of his sojourn to Jesus Christ and the good, old USA.
Have become somewhat of an app store addict with my iPhone. So many great apps; is impressive to me also the brilliance of people displayed in their work.
My goal this weekend: to not be quite as busy.
It is true. I was intoxicated in church …
again. And if you can believe it, God approved. In fact he was responsible for the whole thing.
Okay so maybe my tabloid headline drew you in, but I was.
Possibly I shouldn’t admit this in such a public manner, but I was intoxicated in church this past Sunday.
Don’t get drunk on wine, which leads to wild living. Instead, be filled with the Spirit (Ephesians 5.18).
Okay so now I confess. I wasn’t drunk on wine or beer, but I was overwhelmed by the presence of God, his sovereignty, patience and goodness specifically.
I was filled with God. Drunk on God if you will. Not to be offensive but that seems to be the writer’s point.
Don’t be controlled by alcohol but be controlled, filled by God.
And I couldn’t stop the tears for a little while. And that was good also.
Thank you, Father.
The joy of walking.
That is what I experienced this morning as I made my way to my CAT loader.
Why I do not know, but I was very aware of one leg, then the other, feet leading the way, carrying me across the shop floor to my machine.
Maybe this sounds weird, but it was pretty cool. Just think of the engineering that God did to allow us to move about over the face of the earth so fluidly.
To me, it was a blessing and a reminder of God’s goodness and greatness.
And it was very personal. Something like a parent would do to express his or her love for their child.
Something like a loving heavenly Father would do.
Just like God.

Pic of my dining area today.
Just like that this morning … God dropped by … Slipped right in.
A gentle breeze from the throne of God.
Glory of heaven. Light of earth.
So I thank you, Lord, for setting my mundane existence in the context of your eternal and faithful presence.
Have known about Pandora for some time. Spent very little time with it. But really impressed with it over the last couple days using on my iPhone.
Give an artist or a song and off you go.
Good way to preview songs and artists and to discover new.
Inspired to feeling stupid to a well-chosen step before God.
Faith always wins! Always!
That’s sometimes/often my progression.
Going through that now with a few things. Have to be willing to fail and be disappointed because making a successful “faith” move is worth it.
Either way it is win-win. My big dose of humility brings a refreshing drink of God’s grace.
So praise to God as I drink in his grace.
Celebrating victory or considering perceived failure, faith wins.
